For Educators & Mentors

THE HERO C.O.D.E.
CLASSROOM KIT

Keep the Code alive after the session ends.

Handout · Certificate · Discussion questions · Four-week plan · Feedback forms · Lesson plan

One session starts the work. These tools help you keep it going in the weeks that follow.

Participant Handout. The printed handout students write on during the session, with one activity for each letter of the Code.

Certificate of Achievement (Grades 5 to 8). A template for younger students. Each student writes one thing they learned as an affirmation or a dream, like "I can dream bigger," to post in class or hang at home.

Seven Discussion Questions. Questions to bring the Code back into the room in the weeks after the session.

Keep the Code Alive: A Four-Week Plan. A simple week-by-week plan for revisiting roadmaps, naming courage moments, and keeping the language alive in class.

Student Feedback Form. The printed form younger students complete after the session. Older students respond through the QR code.

Adult and Mentor Feedback Form. For educators, administrators, coordinators, and mentors who observed the session.

Full Lesson Plan. The full lesson plan behind the session.

The kit is provided to hosting educators after a booked workshop, or a series of workshops, has been delivered. Anyone else can ask.

Three new ways to carry the Code are in development: a companion comic book for younger readers, a longer book for older students, and the Hero C.O.D.E. mobile app. They are not available yet.
